Journal Entry: We’re living in the time of the Dark Moon

New beginnings first require moving through the darkness.

This is the time for the unfolding of so many and we need more intentional spaces to allow that.

It is support, it is space, it is time which is being offered at Budding Moon.

I have been working with my Self and have shifted in such a way that this project is possible now.

Before it could never have been, but it is possible now.

It’s been held inside me, waiting to blossom.

When I take time to reconnect with my Self, my guides, with nature, with the present moment there is endless energy and vitality that comes through.

It’s a different way of Being that we must make time for.

It’s accessed through intention, and slowing down time through the breath and the ‘felt sense’.

Peace, love, and tranquility are always accessible because they are always present in the present moment.

You have to move into that space within, so it appears without.

This has been the secret and truth at the core of so many teachings across time and culture, and is captured well within the famous quote from Hermes:

As above, so below.
As within, so without.
As the universe, so the soul.

I am ready to live this. I am ready for this transition out into the world, which I’ve ached for my entire life.

Amidst the darkness around us, a new moon is rising.

It cannot be rushed, yet we can prepare ourselves for new beginnings.

Clearing out what no longer serves us; letting tired, oppressive, hierarchical systems collapse or fall away into new systems that are harmonious with natural laws, collaborative, respectful, and loving.

It requires courage and self-responsibility that will bring up guilt, shame, anger, and other forms of fear.

It requires us to question everything within ourselves, our cultures, and societies.

It requires a deep connection to our inner Knowing so that decisions are made from a place beyond our conditioning.

It requires a great unlearning of much of what we think we know and an openness to the Unknown.

It is only in the Unknown that something different can be realized.

Drawing on the past, drawing upon the known can only bring what has existed in history.

Only by moving into the unknown can we realize and manifest the world we dream of; the world that so many choose to believe is impossible.

Those who say, “There will always be war.”

“There will always be poor people.”

”That’s the way it’s always been.”

”That’s just who I am.”

These are merely beliefs created and known in history. Those who hold these limiting beliefs cannot be the creators of a new world.

The fear that is the basis of such beliefs obscures the creative potential that lies deep within our DNA.

Claim your courage. Building resilience to stress and discomfort equips one to face the fear of the unknown, where discomfort is a given.

Only through an uncomfortable unlearning process can one lift beyond fear into the unknown, which is the space of infinite possibilities.

Only in this space can we birth something new and liberating for all.
