  • Will I have to share the sauna and hot tub with other people?

    Unless you have booked a small group experience, you will have complete solitude during your time in the sauna and hot tub.

  • What do I have to bring?

    A bathing suit, hat, sunglasses, sandals, and towel. There’s no need for a robe unless that makes your experience more comfortable.

    You can rent a towel if you happen to forget yours.

  • How hot does the sauna get?

    In general, you can expect the temperature to be between 70-80°C.

    Since it is a wood-fired sauna the temperature fluctuates depending on the type of wood being burned and the size of the fire.

  • Can I pour water on the wood-fired heater?

    Yes!

  • Are there any safety concerns with respect to the sauna and hot tub?

    Part of the health benefit associated with hot tub and sauna is that the temperature change increases your heart rate. You should consult your physician or other health care professional before using any hot tub or sauna to determine if it is right for your needs.

    This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by using a sauna or hot tub.

    Do not sauna or hot tub if your physician or health care provider advises against it.

    Prior to a session, you’ll receive our terms and conditions, wavier and release of liability that will detail further risks.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    I require 48 hours notice before you cancel an appointment. All cancellations within 48 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee of $45.

  • How do I cancel my appointment?

    You need to cancel an appointment through the confirmation email you received at the time of booking. At the bottom of the email you will see an option to “cancel” or “change” appointment. This is the only way to cancel, please don't call or email us for this.

  • Does my credit card get charged at the time of booking?

    No. When you book online, the credit is used to hold your spot. You won’t be charged until you arrive at the sanctuary on the day of your experience.

  • Is there parking?

    Yes, park in my driveway.

  • What payments do you take?

    Credit, e-transfer, and cash.
