Feminine Ceremonies
Rekindling and honoring feminine rites of passage
Feminine Ceremonies at Budding Moon are created and conducted with the power of intention, love, and intuition.
We celebrate and honor the individual who is transitioning from one archetype to another, reflect on what it means, and share the joys and challenges that are natural during such life changes.
Modern-day rites of passage reconnect us to our sacredness
Our feminine ceremonies don’t follow any particular tradition. There’s no need to copy ancient rites of passage or appropriate ceremonies from other cultures in order to celebrate and mark these transitions in our own lives.
We simply re-infuse sacredness and intention into the rite of passage to create something that is truly meaningful to the one being honored.
Mothers and Maidens Moonsong
Menarche (the first menses of a young adult) is a right of passage into a new chapter of life.
Our moon cycle is a gift that offers us a direct connection to Creation, as well as a deeper understanding of our body, mind, and heart.
An important part of this ceremony, mothers share with the girls what they were told before they started their periods, what they’ve learned over their years of menstruation, and what they wish they were told.
Birth blessing
An intentional and sacred space to honor and bless the arrival of a beautiful, unique Being into our world.
In circle, we create, hold and send our best intentions and love to the newborn, sing their name, and celebrate the joy and gifts they bring.
